Darkroom Engineering Privacy Information
Effective August 25, 2026. This page explains how the current darkroom.engineering website handles information when you browse the site or contact the studio.
Contact information
When you submit the contact form, the site receives the name, email, company, budget, project type, timeline, project details, and referral source that you provide. The server validates these fields and sends the submission to a configured Slack webhook so the Darkroom team can review and respond to the inquiry. The public content API is read-only and does not accept project submissions.
Security and operations
BotID checks the contact form for automated abuse, and the server applies request rate limits using the request IP address. The website runs on Vercel, where requests can produce hosting and operational logs used to deliver the site, diagnose errors, and protect its availability.
Analytics
Production deployments use Vercel Analytics. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are optional integrations and run only when their identifiers are configured. These services process site-usage events according to their own service configuration and policies.
Questions
For a privacy question or a request concerning information you sent through the contact form, email hi@darkroom.engineering. Darkroom may update this notice when the website’s implementation or public services change.
