preface
Welcome to DARKROOM, where things get developed. You might remember us from such websites as dragonfly.xyz↗, deso.com↗, badomensofficial.com↗ and orderful.com↗. If any of them seem familiar, it's because we were the developers behind Studio Freight, who have now branched out, untapping our potential to anyone online who "gets it", daring to step out of the confort zone and try something different.
Our Philosophy
We don't do bosses or bureaucracy. Yeah, we've read Laloux and dig the whole teal organization thing, but we're not here to preach about it - we just know that treating people like actual humans who can manage their own work gets better results than playing corporate politics. Everyone here has the freedom to speak their mind, and bring their whole self to work (crazy ideas and weird jokes included). We evolve as we go because that's what smart teams do.

mission
We're DARKROOM - born from Studio Freight's expertise but evolved into our own beast. We're not here to play buzzword bingo or paint pretty pictures of "synergy". We're developers who give a fuck about building software that works, and we're here to shake up how digital products and websites get made.
approach
Cut the crap, get shit done. We don't trust in pyramidal hierarchies or death by meetings. Every dev here has a voice because everyone brings something to the table. We adapt fast, learn faster, and aren't afraid to pivot when something isn't working. Theory's great - we know our stuff - but at the end of the day, we care about what actually works in the real world.
commitment
We're in this together - not because some HR manual says we should be, but because we genuinely want to see each other level up. We're proud of what we build, but we're not precious about it. We're here to grow, create dope shit, have fun doing it, and maybe leave the dev world a little better than we found it. No corporate kumbaya required.

missionINVITATION
Look, we're not here to promise you the moon or dazzle you with empty tech jargon. But if you want a team that'll actually solve your problems and build stuff that works - or if you're a developer who's tired of corporate BS and wants to work with people who do give a damn - let's talk. We're always down to take on interesting challenges or meet folks who share our mindset.
